EGE winter schedule brings more Denver, Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles flights

United doubles Denver service to six daily flights and upgrades Chicago and Houston to daily; American and United seasonal routes extend into summer 2027.

Eagle County Regional Airport has posted its winter 2026-27 airline schedule, with expanded service on several key routes, including a substantial increase in United Airlines flights to Denver.

United will fly between Denver and EGE six times daily, up from three, and will upgrade Chicago and Houston service from weekend-only to daily, according to the airport's flight information page. The airline will also add a daily direct flight to Los Angeles. United serves EGE year-round from Denver and seasonally from Chicago O'Hare, Houston, Los Angeles, Newark, San Francisco and Washington Dulles.

American Airlines will operate four daily flights to Dallas/Fort Worth, which it serves year-round, plus one daily flight to Chicago and two daily flights to Los Angeles, with seasonal service to Miami, New York JFK and Phoenix. Alaska Airlines flies seasonally from December through March from Seattle and San Diego. Delta flies seasonally from Atlanta, Los Angeles, Minneapolis-St. Paul and New York JFK over the same December to March window.

The airport's schedule notes that seasonal services on American and United will be extended through summer 2027, a sign of confidence in year-round demand beyond the ski season. Across the four carriers, the winter schedule covers 15 destinations: Seattle, San Diego, Dallas/Fort Worth, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York JFK, Phoenix, Atlanta, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Denver, Houston, Newark, San Francisco and Washington Dulles. EGE, located in Gypsum, is the commercial air gateway for Vail, Beaver Creek and the surrounding valley.

The schedule is the product of years of public-private work. The Minimum Revenue Guarantee program, backed by Core Transit and the EGE Air Alliance, uses community funding to secure and keep air service at the airport, according to the airport's announcements. The alliance describes itself as a nonprofit partnership of more than 60 public and private funding partners with a mission to maintain and grow service at EGE.

The airport also participates in The Good Traveler program, through which travelers can offset flight emissions; the program says participating airports and airlines have cut more than 119,000 metric tons of carbon emissions, according to flyege.com. The airport's homepage carries a live arrivals and departures board for day-of-travel checks alongside its route map.

Air service is a recurring economic lever for the valley: winter flight schedules shape how easily destination visitors can reach the resorts, and added frequencies give local travelers more options for getting out. Travelers should confirm specific dates and times with the airlines, since the airport notes schedules are subject to change.
